Have visited some of my fave blogs and re-looked those lovely inspirational pictures. Have visited The Old Painted Cottage which featured the house of DustyLu. I really love it.

Bedroom

This is my daughter's bedroom, I haven't decorated much here. The curtain is coming soon and I have asked our staff in the workshop to paint the birdcage which I bought few days ago. I want to hang a little round birdcage painted in pink.

It is very common to use a bolster here as an addition to a pillow. I don't really like the shape of bolster but we love to use the bolster.

A bolster (etymology: Middle English, derived from Old English, and before that the Germanic word *ƀulstraz) is a long narrow pillowor cushion filled with cotton, down, or fibre. In western countries, it is usually placed at the head of bed and functions as head or back support. The Movie : Nine

Reading this article from Donatella Style, then I come up with this article of NINE.

Nine tells the story of Guido Contini (Daniel Day-Lewis), a world famous film director as he confronts an epic mid-life crisis with both creative and personal problems. Shopping for Fabric

Just went shopping for some fabrics yesterday. Here are the pictures, what do you think ? do you like the pattern ? I plan to create some pillow cases for our living room, bedroom and a thin bed comforter for my eldest daughter. It was raining here since morning, on and off. I went to my salsa class every Monday morning and yeay I can do it better now. I'm still a beginner, and so far I just love the class, it's really fun. Have a great Monday everyone !!!

Lace for Windows

I plan to change my old curtains in our house. In the middle of raining, I lied down on my bed, and suddenly I just wanted to grab my laptop and started to browse. I have found a new lovely blog today Donatella Style which give me an inspiration about A Touch Of Lace and look what I have found !! Never thought before that lace curtain will be in my shopping list tomorrow. I will post the picture of our new curtains once they're done. Birthday Ideas

As my eldest daughter birthday is coming soon, it is fun to look around for birthday inspiration on the internet. The cakes are from the cupcake company. The title of the pink cake with lace decoration is shabby chic cake :) The above birthday decorations are from amy atlas. Hi everyone, it's been raining since early morning here. Any interesting plan for this Tuesday ? I want to buy a bird cage as part of decorating item for my daughter room, I want to paint it green, let me show you later once it's done. Fruit Basket

I gave this fruit basket as an attachment for  a get well soon message to one of our relative a while ago. I used this tin basket as a replacement for rattan basket, what do you think ?

Hydrangea and Tuberose

Hydrangea and tuberose are some of my favorite flowers.

I love their look and I love the smell of tuberose.

They are also easy to display. Without skill requirement in floral arrangement, we can just put them in a big vase or bucket. My friend gave me a little iron bucket, I think it is perfect to put the hydrangeas. I displayed the above flowers at our home for a new year's family dinner gathering.
